Introducing Laser Dentistry to Our Practice
We now have this fantastic piece of Dental Technology right here at Palacios Dental Center. It is an innovative state-of-the-art laser that offers diverse clinical applications from which you as a patient will benefit greatly.
HOW DO LASERS WORK?
All Lasers use concentrated light to deliver a regulated form of energy. Our soft tissue laser helps to stimulate tissue healing, reduce pain and inflammation, kill bacteria and viruses, stop bleeding and remove diseased tissues. This focused light allows for a much cleaner experience with the lowest infection rate possible. Laser Therapy at Palacios Dental Center can be used with diverse oral care needs and patients of all ages and levels of health, all in a minimally invasive way to make you as comfortable as possible.
What does this mean for our patients?
The Ultradent Gemini Diode Laser gives us the power to customize each treatment specifically for our patient’s individual needs and delivers care with better and faster results This Laser also promotes faster healing for our patients and increased comfort during treatment. Palacios Dental Center chose this Laser because it creates fantastic results we know you will find value in. Attention Periodontal Patients
Patients with periodontal disease and/or bleeding gums primarily benefit from the use of our Laser. LAPT (Laser-assisted periodontal therapy) helps get rid of necrotic tissue so your gums can heal and reattach; it kills bacteria, helps decrease periodontal disease, increases collagen, and reduces sensitivity. Patients have gotten excellent results when used in conjunction with traditional Scaling and Root Planing (SRP) and have noticed a much lower rate of relapse and a more comfortable experience.
